The fine print: who we are, what this is, and the rules we play by.
That's My Mayor! is an unofficial fan project for everyone who lives far from New York City but keeps checking what Zohran Mamdani is doing. You don't have to live in the five boroughs — or have any plan to pack boxes and move — to care about a rent freeze, free buses, grocery stores run by the city, or universal childcare. This app turns that interest into something you can actually play with: you make an honorary New York resident ID card, you get a silly daily fan decree, and you can test yourself on what he has really proposed.
It's built for curious people everywhere: group-chat friends outside NYC, former New Yorkers, students who follow city politics, and anyone who saw a policy idea online and wanted a friendly place to understand it without the shouting.
The app is made by fans, for fans — a small group of people who follow city politics from outside New York. We are not affiliated with Zohran Mamdani, his campaign, or the City of New York, and we never put words in a real person's mouth: every decree is a joke written by fans and labeled as one. Your ID card stays on your own device, with no accounts and no tracking of your politics.
